Mezzana is placed on our conoid del rio Val Spona, throughout the entire country. It seems that the origin of its name derives from the fact that this country is halfway from Bridge Mostizzolo, limit east of Val di Sole and the Passo del Tonale, western limit. Features the steep and narrow roads that connect the squares, placed on top of the other. In Piazza Maggiore there are two churches of different eras and styles, but united in their Apse, giving the square itself looks decidedly odd.
Part of the town of Mezzana Ortisè small fractions, and Menas Roncio, perched halfway on the left side of a mountain valley, while the opposite side is the most famous tourist resort of Marilleva 1400 and 900. In 1994 Mezzana hosted World Canoeing on the Noce River that passes just over a valley, and thanks to this event, were made permanent and modern sports facilities such as a football field, indoor tennis court, canoes equipped for the trail.
