Folgarida Hotel and ski slopes

Folgarida was born as a tourist site dedicated high altitude alpine skiing, whose first structure called precisely Hotel Folgarida, sees its completion around the years 1965-1966 next to the road from Dimaro through Campo Carlo Magno, brings in Madonna di Campiglio and Val Rendena. The site tourist that day d 'today has numerous structures with a wide range of hotels, apartments and residences, has been developed in two areas slightly down between them.

The first, called Low Folgarida, behind the bend of the road salt Dimaro, on the side of the mountain facing the Valley of the Sun, consists predominantly of Hotels and energy in our leisure, cinema, conference centre, bars , pizza, cake, etc.. The second, Folgarida High, is on the opposite side of the mountain, with a splendid panorama of peaks northernmost of the Brenta Dolomites, and has a structure mainly composed of residences and apartments, although there are also hotels and entertainment facilities, the principal of which one field to ice skating.

Both centres, Low and High Folgarida, start two cable cars that have the same goal as a destination resort Malghet Haut, on the summit of Mount Folgarida, the starting point of many other lifts slopes connected with the runs of Marilleva and Madonna di Campiglio. Some of these plants is running even in summer, allowing all mountain lovers, even less skilled and trained, comfortable and pleasant walking at high altitude.
