Croviana is a small town located at the beginning of a vast flat plain that reaches Monclassico. It covers an area of 5.08 square kilometers, two pastures (huts) in a still active, and coniferous forests with trails immersed in nature for every type of walk. Croviana ancient place of residence was of noble families Lombard; yet today we can admire the castle Croviana even if no longer in its former glory, as the noble Pezzen residence, which is recalled Bartolomeo Pezzen (1600) in which 1995 the council and the community of Croviana, at the project's completion, the new elementary school, in memory of a legacy with which could go to school children even less well.
Next to the castle is the parish church dedicated to St. George, dating from the mid 1200 and expanded several times. Above the entrance door of the facade there is an ancient fresco, which depicts S. 1611 Giorgio in the act of killing a dragon, inside, a main altar carved and gilded wood, unfortunately plundered virtually all the statues that decorated to the 80s. On the right there is the chapel Pezzen adorned with the coats of arms and family tombstone broken into two parts by thieves seeking the treasure of the noble family.
Every year on 23 April is celebrated the festival of St. George with the traditional procession and a festival. Worth noting is the former home Angeli located in the historic district of 'Liciasa' in the National with the old sundial transport and the emblem of the Angeli.
See also the old mill recently restored which is located near the recreational area "Plaze" surrounded by green forests. Croviana in recent years has had a major demographic expansion due to the proximity to the state capital of the valley, Malé, maintaining a strong vitality in, the true engine, together with the council of many village initiatives.
